Server Rules

Welcome to SquadGens.
By accessing any of SquadGens' platforms, you agree to abide by these rules. Failure to comply with these rules may result in punishment, up to and including account suspension or ban. We deserve the rights to change our rules at any time.

1. Global Rules

1.1. Threats:
Do not make threats against SquadGens (minecraft server community) or other players.

1.2. Inappropriate Content:
Posting any content that might be considered inappropriate, NSFW (not safe for work), or includes any references to drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited.

1.3. Sensitive Material:
Do not post content that might potentially harm, trigger, or be sensitive to players.

1.4. Harassment and Discrimination:
Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disrespect is strictly prohibited.

1.5. Advertising:
Any form of external advertisement is not allowed.

1.6. Spam and Flooding:
You are not allowed to spam or flood any chat or on the server.

1.7. Personal Information:
Leaking another player's personal or private information is strictly prohibited.

1.8. Impersonation:
Any attempts to impersonate other players or staff members is not allowed.

1.9. Punishment Evasion:
Using an alternative account to bypass a punishment on any platform is not allowed and may result in an increased punishment on both the alternative and main account. The only exception to this is if you are punished for an inappropriate skin or username and cannot change it within the given time frame.

2. In-Game Rules (Minecraft)

2.1. Modified Clients and Hacks:
Do not use any form of flight or modified client/hacks. This includes hacks such as kill aura, tp-aura, and any other hack that might annoy players or ruin the experience of members of the community.

2.2. CPS Modification:
Using a program to modify anything related to clicks per second (CPS) is not allowed. If a staff member finds a program that allows your mouse to double-click other than the debounce time, you will be punished. Autominer is also not allowed and may result in a ban.

2.3. Abusing Bugs:
Do not abuse any bugs but do report them to the Development team.

2.4 Boosting:
Any sort of boosting is prohibited. For example player boosting, killing boosting, spawn killing.
You can boost a player ONLY if they're in your clan.

2.5 Unfair Play:
Any form of scamming, inappropriate name, AFK mining/fishing, autoclicking, or any other form of unfair advantage is not allowed.

3. Discord Rules (and general)

3.1 Respectful Conduct:

Refrain from discriminatory, hateful, or offensive language or content. Be polite to other server members and staff. Discrimination based on gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, race, age, etc. is not tolerated.

3.2 No Spamming or Disruptive Behavior:
Avoid starting arguments or disrupting others' conversations. Stay on topic in the relevant channel. Flooding, spamming, and abusing the pinging/mention feature are prohibited.

3.3 Avoid Scams and Deceptive Practices:
Do not engage in phishing, scamming, or false reporting against other users or servers. Impersonation of staff or SquadGens brand is not allowed. Do not sell or purchase accounts or servers on our platform.

3.4 Family-Friendly Content:
Our server is PG-13, so no NSFW, swearing or suggestive content is allowed. Please refrain from using foul language or language that is filtered. 

3.5 Compliance with Filters and Punishments:
Intentionally bypassing filters or evading moderation is not permitted. Alternative accounts are not allowed.

3.6 Mindful Promotion:
Promote in the appropriate channels only. Advertising or self-promotion in the wrong channel is not allowed, including (but not limited to) website links, hiring posts, Discord invites, giveaways, trading/selling, Twitch/YouTube channels, etc.

3.7 Truthful Information:
Do not post false or misleading information that may harm the public or cause harm. In summary, act with common sense and decency, and treat others as you would like to be treated.

The use of our Discord server means you agree to follow our Terms of Service (https://www.squadgens.com/rules), and the appended rules as well as any guidelines for underlying platforms (such as Discord’s Terms (https://discord.com/terms) and Community Guidelines (https://discord.com/guidelines). Failure to do so can result in penalties up to and including a permanent ban.
